Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution viewing
Join University Disability Resources (UDR) for a film screening and discussion of Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution! This powerfully moving and critically acclaimed Netflix documentary delves into the activism that fueled the disability rights movement and laid the groundwork for key disability-related legislation such as Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Date/time: Thursday, October 19th; doors will open at 5:30pm and the viewing will start at 6:00pm.
Location: Countway Cinema in the Countway Library located at 10 Shattuck St., Boston, MA 02115. note that the M2 Shuttle is a fully accessible bus that travels from Harvard Square to Longwood. We recommend taking the 5:20pm shuttle to make it to the venue in time for free popcorn and the beginning of the film!
