Co-Design as a Practice: A Health Equity Aspiration

The HMS Department of Biomedical Informatics DEI Committee invite you to co-design equitable futures at the interactive session:

Co-Design as a Practice: A Health Equity Aspiration

Thursday, April 27th

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Register for Zoom link

Facilitated by the co-founders of The Darkest Horse (TDH), a minority and women-owned Think/Do/Be Tank.

Participatory Design and Community Needs Health Assessments are well-developed processes that have been used in the public health community to strive for greater health equity for over a decade. Though these are trusted frameworks, they are undervalued and underutilized.

We dream of leveraging these models beyond the realms of research or academia, and wish to integrate the core principles into everything we do! We invite you in, as Co-Designers of more equitable futures, to explore what might be possible if we begin practicing and embodying these values as our communal ethos.
