Diverse Perspectives in Dentistry

The Harvard School of Dental Medicine is hosting their third Diverse Perspectives in Dentistry lecture series talk. This June they are honoring and bringing awareness around Dentists who identify as a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. The series aims to build and strengthen the community by offering opportunities to learn more about:

  1. The remarkable individuals that make up the Oral Health profession.
  2. The important work being done in oral medicine and intersecting health fields

Anne Koch will be the keynote speaker for this event.

About the Speaker

Anne L. Koch received both her DMD and Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Pennsylvania.  She is also the founder and past Director of the Postdoctoral Program in Endodontics and Microsurgery at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Following her clinical and academic career, Koch formed her own successful technology and development company, Real World Endo, of which she was CEO and President.

Koch maintains adjunct faculty positions at PENN and Harvard and is also a member of the Board of Advisors for the University of Pennsylvania, as well as serving as a Board member for the “Center for Innovation and Precision Dentistry.” She was a 2022 recipient of the Thomas Evans Achievement Award which is the most distinguished alumni award presented by PENN Dental. The holder of multiple patents and author of more than 150 articles, Kochcontinues to lecture extensively on both endodontic technique and cultural competency issues.
