The Child Mental Health Forum is one of the longest continuously running lecture series in the country. Forum presenters are renowned clinical, research, and academic leaders in child and adolescent mental health. The Forum aims to provide intellectually stimulating information on scientific advances and evidence supporting clinical practice and research.
Held the first Wednesday of each month from 10AM- 11:15 AM
This talk will review research, and clinical considerations and controversies related to the following: definitions and terminology; gender diverse prepubertal youth, including social gender transitions; medical interventions and considerations; mental health co-occurrences and risks; gender diversity and autism spectrum disorder; reproductive health; and common clinical challenges in provision of care.
