A Virtual Conversation with Surgeon General Vivek H.
Join NIMHD and the NIH Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) for this upcoming fireside chat, the second in the Dr. Vivek H. Murthy Distinguished Lecture Series on Public Health Leadership. We’re celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month with this conversation between panelists Dr. Murthy, the 19th and 21st Surgeon General of the United States, and Michelle Wu, Mayor of Boston. Their discussion will focus on Mayor Wu’s leadership to address racism and mental health stigma among AAPI communities.
The event will feature an introduction from Dr. Eliseo J. Pérez-Stable, NIMHD Director, followed by the conversation between the two panelists, moderated by Dr. Monica Webb Hooper, Deputy Director of NIMHD.
