"Art is a very important weapon to achieve human freedom.” – Ai Weiwei

Join the Harvard Foundation as we host portraitist Steven Coit (’71, MBA ’77) for a celebration of the Portraiture Project and its impact on the Harvard community. Launched by Dr. Allen Counter in 2002, the Portraiture Project aims to diversify the artwork adorning Harvard walls, reflecting a more comprehensive narrative of accomplishment and contribution to an inclusive Harvard community. A selection of portraits from the collection will be on display and plans for the twenty-seventh piece will be unveiled.  This event is also sponsored by the Harvard Museums of Science & Culture.
