Bending the Arc follows an ambitious group of clinicians, activists, patients, and friends whose mission to save lives in rural Haiti grows into a global fight against epidemic disease, structural violence, and the pernicious ideologies that deprive people living in extreme poverty of dignified medical care. On the surface, this inspiring, critically acclaimed documentary tells the story of Partners In Health and the global movement for health equity and social justice. But at its core, it’s a story about pragmatic solidarity, hope in the face of overwhelming illness, and the possibilities that emerge when we reject despair and cynicism. (Film Trailer)
