The Harvard-Affiliated Residency Programs Showcase gives third- and fourth-year medical students from LCME- and COCA- accredited schools the opportunity to meet Harvard-affiliated residency program directors, attending physicians, fellows and residents to learn more about the hospitals and individual residency programs that are offered at Harvard-affiliated hospitals.
The 2022 Showcase will feature welcome remarks from diversity, equity, and inclusion representatives from our affiliate institutions, Q/A sessions with panels of current residents and residency program directors, and open discussion time for students, trainees, and faculty interested in the same specialty. The program director and resident panels will be live-streamed for those who cannot attend the event in person.
The program is open to participants who identify as having a background in, or having the strong support of, underrepresented or disadvantaged populations in medicine. Space is limited and priority is given to fourth-year students.
Hosted by the Visiting Clerkship Program within the Office for Diversity Inclusion and Community Partnership (DICP) at Harvard Medical School, the program is co-sponsored by the Harvard Affiliate Hospitals, including:
